Date Balls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 lb. chopped dates
dash of lemon juice
2 Tbsp. milk
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
4 c. Rice Krispies
1/2 c. chopped nuts
dash of salt
Preparation

Melt butter with 1 1/2 c. sugar; add dates, lemon juice and milk.
Cook until soft and mushy.
Beat eggs.
Add to fruit mixture with vanilla and salt.
Add Rice Krispies and nuts; cool. Shape into balls and roll into coconut, chopped nuts or powdered sugar.
