Texas Hash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground chuck
    2 onions, chopped
    1 green bell pepper, chopped
    1 can salsa style stewed tomatoes
    1 c. uncooked rice (long grain)
    1 tsp. chili powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Lightly brown meat; drain off grease.
    Add onion and peppers and cook with meat for about 5 minutes.
    Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
    Pour into greased casserole dish; cover.
    Bake 45 minutes.
    Last 15 minutes remove lid and spread desired amount of cheese on top.
