Broccoli Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 bunches broccoli
    3/4 c. raisins
    1/2 medium onion, chopped
    1/2 lb. bacon, fried and crumbled
    1 (8 oz.) can water chestnuts, drained
    1 c. mayonnaise
    1/3 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
Preparation
    Cut flowerettes from broccoli.
    Layer broccoli, raisins, onion, bacon and water chestnuts in bowl. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over salad.
    Refrigerate overnight.
