Potato Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    3/4 c. butter
    2 c. flour
    1 c. nuts
    1 c. hot creamed potatoes
    4 whole eggs
    1/2 c. sweet milk
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
    Add beaten egg yolks.
    Continue to beat, adding milk and hot potatoes, sifted flour with baking powder and beaten egg whites.
    Bake.
    Makes 6 layers.
