Corn Sticks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. meal
    1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1/2 c. sour buttermilk
    1 egg
    1/2 Tbsp. margarine
Preparation
    Sift meal, flour, salt and soda 3 times.
    Add the milk and beaten egg yolk, melted margarine and lastly, beaten egg white. Pour small amount into piping hot, greased corn stick pans and bake in hot oven (425\u00b0) for 15 minutes.
    Serve hot and with a generous amount of margarine.
    Yields 8 to 10 sticks.
