Smothered Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. round steak
1/4 c. flour
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. milk
5 Tbsp. oil
2 Tbsp. flour
1 1/2 c. milk
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
Preparation

Cut meat into serving sizes.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
Dip meat into 1/4 cup milk, then coat with flour, salt and pepper mixture.
Brown meat on both sides in oil.
Remove to shallow baking dish.
Blend 2 tablespoons flour into oil in skillet.
Stir in milk and soup.
Pour this mixture over meat in baking dish.
Bake, uncovered, 1 1/2 hours in 350\u00b0 oven.
