Croquant - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. finely chopped almonds
    1/3 c. sugar
    1/2 c. flour
    pinch of salt
    1/2 stick sweet butter
    1 tsp. vanilla extract or use vanilla sugar
Preparation
    This mixture may be made in advance and kept in a covered jar in the icebox.
    It can be used over any fresh, canned or frozen fruit.
