Sausage Breakfast Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 slices bread
    butter or margarine
    1 lb. pork sausage
    1 1/2 c. shredded cheese
    6 eggs, beaten
    2 c. half and half
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Spread butter or margarine on bread. Place in 13 x 9 x 2-inch greased baking dish.
    Set aside.
    Cook sausage until brown, stirring to crumble; drain well.
    Spoon over bread slices; sprinkle with cheese.
    Combine eggs, half and half (may substitute whole milk) and salt; mix well and pour over cheese.
    Cover and chill overnight.
    Remove from refrigerator 15 minutes before baking.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
