Swedish Coconut Cherry Drops - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. shortening
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. almond extract
1/4 c. maraschino cherries, chopped
1 c. shredded coconut
Preparation

Cream shortening and butter; add sugar, egg and almond extract.
Then add flour, salt and baking powder.
Fold in cherries and coconut.
Drop by teaspoonful on greased baking sheets.
Flatten slightly.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes. Makes 3 dozen.
