Marinated Carrots - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. carrots, peeled, cooked until almost tender, then sliced
    1 can tomato soup
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. mustard
    1 medium green pepper, diced
    1 medium onion, diced
    1/2 c. salad oil
    3/4 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce (optional)
Preparation
    Arrange first 3 ingredients in layers.
    Combine the rest and bring to boil.
    Pour over carrots, etc.
    Chill at least 12 hours. When serving, remove carrots, etc. with a slotted spoon, from the marinade which can be used again.
    Can be made days ahead of time.
