Summer Sausage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 lb. hamburger
    1 tsp. onion powder
    1/2 tsp. garlic, minced
    4 Tbsp. liquid hickory smoke
    4 Tbsp. Morton's Tender Quick salt
    2 c. water
Preparation
    Mix together thoroughly.
    Make into 8 rolls.
    Wrap in foil, twist and tie ends.
    Refrigerate for 24 hours.
    Put in a large pan and boil for 60 minutes, at a slow boil.
    Remove from water, unwrap and cool.
    Rewrap to freeze or refrigerate.
    Serve hot or cold.
