Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
1 Tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. salt
1 1/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. cold water
1 1/4 tsp. baking soda
chocolate chips
chopped nuts
Preparation

Combine flour, cocoa and salt.
Set aside.
Cream sugar and shortening, then blend in eggs and vanilla.
Mix together cold water and baking soda.
To creamed mixture, alternately add flour mixture and water mixture, beginning and ending with dry ingredients.
Sprinkle chocolate chips and chopped nuts over top and bake in 9 x 13-inch pan at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
