Apricot Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. diced apricots
    1/2 c. soft butter
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. brown sugar, packed
    2 eggs, well beaten
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    confectioners sugar (10x)
Preparation
    Rinse apricots.
    Cover with water and boil 10 minutes; drain. Chop and cool.
    Grease an 8-inch square pan.
    Mix butter, sugar and 1 cup of flour until crumbly.
    Press down in bottom of pan and bake 25 minutes at 350\u00b0.
