Apple Date Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. cooking oil (Mazola)
2 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
1 tsp. salt
3 c. plain flour
1 1/4 tsp. soda
2 c. chopped apples (prefer Stayman Winesap)
1 c. chopped dates
1 1/2 c. chopped pecans

Preparation

This makes 1 large cake in tube pan or 2 loaf pan cakes.
Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 hour and 25 minutes or bake loaf pans for 1 hour.
