Jewish Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 tsp. baking powder
    3 c. flour
    2 1/4 c. sugar
    1 c. oil
    4 unbeaten eggs
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. orange juice
    4 or 5 large apples
    5 tsp. cinnamon
    5 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Pour oil and orange juice together before adding dry ingredients.
    Mix well.
    In separate bowl, cut paper thin slices of apples with skins on.
    Dip in mixture of cinnamon and sugar (more if needed).
    Layer batter and apples in tube pan, ending with apples on top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 3/4 hours.
    Check at 1 1/4 hours for doneness.
