Soccer Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. corn syrup
    1 (16 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
    1 (16 oz.) pkg. butterscotch chips
    1 c. peanut butter
    6 c. crisp rice cereal
Preparation
    Cook sugar and corn syrup until bubbly; stir often.
    Remove from heat, stir in peanut butter and cereal.
    Mix well.
    Press into a 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Melt chocolate chips and butterscotch chips together in a pot over medium heat stirring.
    Spread over cereal mixture and refrigerate one hour.
    Cut in squares. Makes 24.
