Hot Chicken Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2 bay leaves
4 c. celery, diced
1 can cream of chicken soup
2 c. mayonnaise
2 c. sour cream
2 cans water chestnuts, drained, sliced and then quartered
1 can mushrooms, drained
1 c. slivered almonds
2 Tbsp. onion, finely chopped
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
1 1/2 c. buttered bread crumbs
Preparation

Boil chicken with bay leaves until tender.
Remove chicken and chop into cubes.
Place in a large mixing bowl.
Add all remaining ingredients except cheese and bread crumbs.
Mix well.
Put mixture into a 9 x 13 inch baking dish.
Sprinkle with cheese and bread crumbs.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
