Chicken And Mushrooms - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 to 3 lb. chicken, cut in serving pieces
salt
pepper
4 Tbsp. olive oil
1 lb. small mushrooms or large mushrooms, sliced
1 small onion, minced
1/3 c. (part of an 8 oz. can) tomato sauce
1/4 c. water
1/2 c. chopped parsley
6 to 8 oz. vermicelli, hot, cooked and drained (optional)
1 Tbsp. butter (optional)
additional chopped parsley
Preparation

Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper.
Place oil in a wide frying pan over medium heat and brown chicken on all sides.
Do not crowd pan.
Remove chicken as browned and set aside.
