Pork Chops With Apricot Glaze - cooking recipe

1/8 tsp. minced, pared ginger root
2 Tbsp. reduced calorie apricot spread
1 tsp. Dijon mustard
1 1/2 tsp. Madeira wine
1 tsp. honey
2 pork loin chops (5 oz.)
dash of salt, pepper and garlic powder
Preparation

In saucepan, combine first five ingredients; cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until smooth and thick (3 to 4 minutes).
Remove from heat.
Season pork chops with salt, pepper and garlic powder; arrange on rack in broiling pan.
Broil 6 minutes.
Turn chops and brush with glaze; broil another 6 minutes.
