Sauerkraut And Pork - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    salt and pepper to taste
    4 to 6 pork chops
    1 large onion
    1 qt. sauerkraut
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1/4 c. vinegar
    4 to 5 potatoes, cut up
Preparation
    Salt and pepper pork.
    Brown pork in pan.
    Put onion on top of meat.
    Put sauerkraut on top of meat; put brown sugar and vinegar in; add cut up potatoes.
    Bring to a boil.
    Cook about 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
    Cook slowly on low.
