Ingredients

1 c. brown sugar
5 Tbsp. flour
pinch of salt
1 1/2 c. milk
2 egg yolks
2 Tbsp. butter
1 (9-inch) baked pie shell
Preparation

Mix brown sugar, flour and salt; gradually add milk, mix well. Add beaten egg yolks.
Cook over hot water, stirring constantly until thick.
Add butter.
Pour into baked pie shell.
Let cool. Use Cool Whip or your favorite meringue.
