Beef-Cabbage Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground chuck
    1 Tbsp. shortening
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1 c. chopped celery
    2 1/2 c. tomatoes (No. 2 can)
    salt and pepper
    4 c. shredded cabbage
    1 c. soft bread crumbs
Preparation
    Brown chuck in shortening.
    Add onion and celery; cook 5 minutes.
    Add tomatoes, salt and pepper.
    Place 1/2 in casserole; cover with 1/2 of cabbage.
    Repeat layers.
    Top with bread crumbs. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
