Texas Hash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground round
    1 large onion, diced
    1 green pepper, diced
    1 (16 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
    1/2 to 1 c. uncooked rice
    1/2 pkg. chili seasoning mix
    2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 can kidney beans (optional)
Preparation
    In large skillet, cook meat and drain grease.
    Add onion and green pepper; saute for 5 minutes.
    Add all other ingredients. Cook until rice is heated through on simmer approximately 20 to 25 minutes, stirring often.
