Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 qt. (3 bags microwave) popcorn
    1 c. margarine or butter
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
    2 c. brown sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/4 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix butter or margarine, white syrup and brown sugar in a saucepan.
    Bring to boiling; let boil for 6 minutes, stirring all the time.
    Take off heat and add cream of tartar, salt, baking soda and vanilla.
    Stir until foamy and pour over popcorn.
    Spread in cookie sheet after mixing well and coating corn.
    Bake at 200\u00b0 for 1 hour.
