Quick Cheese Danish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. refrigerated crescent rolls
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    1 egg, separated
    6 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 Tbsp. water
    raisins, chopped (optional)
    nuts, canned (optional)
    pie filling, drained (optional)
    confectioners sugar
Preparation
    Unroll dough:
    pat into 10 1/2 x 8-inch rectangle on baking sheet; seal seams.
    Combine cheese, egg yolk and sugar; beat until smooth.
    Spread on dough to 1/2 inch of edges; sprinkle with cinnamon (may add 1 or more of the optional items).
    Fold in thirds lengthwise, seal edges.
    Combine egg white and water, brush over top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 approximately 20 minutes.
    Sprinkle with confectioners sugar.
