All-Bran Icebox Rolls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 pkg. yeast
1 c. lukewarm water
1 c. All-Bran cereal
1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. boiling water
2 beaten eggs
4 2/3 c. flour
Preparation

Dissolve yeast in warm water.
Combine cereal, sugar, salt, shortening and boiling water.
Stir until shortening is melted. Cool until lukewarm.
Add yeast mixture and stir in eggs. Gradually add flour and mix thoroughly.
Place in large bowl, cover and refrigerate overnight.
When ready to use, shape as desired.
Brush with melted butter and let rise in warm place until doubled in size.
Bake at 400` for 20 minutes.
Makes 2 1/2 dozen large rolls.
