Green Pea Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans LeSueur peas
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. onion, celery and green pepper, chopped
    1/4 c. milk
    1 c. cream of mushroom or celery soup
    1 small can water chestnuts, chopped
    liquid from chestnuts
    1 small can chopped pimento
    bread crumbs
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Put drained peas in 9 x 12-inch casserole.
    Saute onions, celery and pepper in butter.
    Add to peas.
    Add rest of ingredients.
    Top with bread crumbs.
    Cook at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 30 minutes.
