Green Beans In Tomato Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. fresh green beans
    1 small onion
    2 to 3 cloves garlic
1 Tbsp. oil (used to saute onion/garlic; may use a little water instead if you want to cut out the fat)
1 large can tomatoes, cut up in small pieces
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
Put onion and garlic in food processor and chop until fine. Saute onion and garlic in oil in large pan until translucent (don't burn).
    Add fresh beans and stir.
Cover and cook on low heat for about 10 to 15 minutes.
Add tomatoes (with juice), salt and pepper to taste.
(If you want, you may add a little tomato sauce to make it thicker.)
Cover and cook on low heat for at least an hour, depending on how hard or soft you want the green beans to be.
Or you can bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 1 1/2 hours.
Stir occasionally. Add water, if needed.
