Chili - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
1 large onion, chopped
1 can chili beans
1 can kidney beans
1 small can tomato paste
1 c. chopped, canned tomatoes (optional)
1 pkg. chili seasoning or mix
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Cook chopped onion slightly.
Add beef and brown until fairly done.
Salt and pepper to taste.
Add garlic salt.
Blend in package of chili seasoning.
Add tomato paste plus three cans water.
Stir until blended.
Fold in beans and cook over low heat for 20 to 25 minutes.
Reduce heat to simmer and cook as long as desired.
I usually let it simmer at least an hour and a half.
