Fasnachts - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. milk
1/3 c. lard
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 yeast cake
8 c. flour
Preparation

Bring milk and lard to the boiling point but do not boil. Stir in sugar and salt; let cool to lukewarm.
Beat eggs and add to the milk.
Soak yeast cake in 2 tablespoons warm water and keep warm.
Sift and measure the flour.
