Oyster Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 whole shallots (minced)
    6 Tbsp. butter
    18 whole oysters (with liquor)
    2 cups milk
    2 cups heavy cream
    1/2 cup dry sherry
Preparation
    Saute shallots in 4 Tbsp. of butter for 5 minutes.
    Add oysters with their liquor.
    Bring to a boil, add milk and cream, salt, and pepper.
    Simmer 2 minutes.
    Add sherry and again bring to a boil.
    Serve at once, with a tsp. of butter in each serving.
