1 Tbsp. butter
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 c. diced apples, skinned
4 Tbsp. butter
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. flour
2 large eggs
cinnamon or powdered sugar (optional)
Preparation

Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
Melt 1 tablespoon butter in a skillet. Add brown sugar and apples; stir to coat.
Cook over medium-low heat for about 1 minute, stirring occasionally.
Remove from heat; set aside.
Melt 4 tablespoons butter in a 10-inch ovenproof skillet, tilting pan to coat the sides.
Whisk milk, flour, eggs and cinnamon in a medium bowl.
Pour into skillet; cook for 1 minute.
Place into oven; bake until puffed and golden, 12 to 15 minutes.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar; serve immediately.
