Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium potatoes, diced
    1 medium onion, diced
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 stick margarine or butter
    1 qt. milk
    celery seed or powder to taste
Preparation
    Boil potatoes, onions and salt in just enough water to cover. Cook until tender; mash potatoes lightly with potato masher.
    Add butter and melt.
    Add milk and celery seed or powder, if desired. Cook until hot and serve.
    We like to add homemade egg noodles for a change.
