Jubilee Jumbles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. white sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. evaporated milk
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. nuts (walnuts)
    2 3/4 c. flour
Preparation
    Mix well shortening, sugars and eggs.
    Stir in milk and vanilla.
    Sift flour, soda and salt together.
    Combine with sugar mixture.
    Blend in nuts.
    Chill 1 hour.
    Drop rounded tablespoonfuls on greased cookie sheet.
    Frost with browned butter frosting.
