Chicken Adobo - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 to 2 lb. chicken (may be frozen, may be skinless and boneless)
2 c. water
1/2 c. vinegar
1 bay leaf
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1/4 tsp. black pepper
2 Tbsp. soy sauce
cooked rice
1 Tbsp. oil
Preparation

Combine chicken, water, vinegar, bay leaf, garlic, pepper and soy sauce in a medium to large saucepan.
Bring to a boil; cover and lower heat.
Cook until chicken is done and a small amount of broth is left.
Add the oil and brown the contents of the pan, if desired.
(Cooking time is 45 to 60 minutes average.)
Serve over rice.
