Tomato Catsup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. ripe tomatoes
    1 lb. sugar
    1 tsp. black pepper
    4 tsp. ground cloves
    4 tsp. ground mustard
    4 tsp. cinnamon
    1 qt. vinegar
    1 tsp. cayenne pepper
    4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Boil tomatoes until soft; strain through a sieve.
    Add vinegar, sugar, cayenne pepper, black pepper, cloves, mustard and salt.
    Boil down until it is 1/4 of its bulk and add cinnamon. Bottle, seal and process.
    Makes 4 to 5 pints.
