Feather-Light Yeast Rolls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2/3 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1 tsp. baking powder
dash of salt
2 1/2 c. lukewarm water
2 pkg. RapidRise yeast
6 c. self-rising flour
Preparation

Place yeast in 2 1/2 lukewarm cups water; set aside.
Mix 4 cups flour, salt, baking powder and sugar together.
Put in melted shortening and yeast water.
Mix well.
Take the 2 cups of flour and mix it into the dough mixture.
Put about 2 handfuls of flour on countertop.
Put dough on floured countertop.
Grease fingers and knead dough.
Put dough in greased bowl, cover and let rise. After it has doubled, punch it down.
Make into rolls or bread, putting it into greased muffin tins or bread pans.
Let it rise. Bake 15 minutes at 350\u00b0.
