Grandma Neuenfeldt'S Cocoa Fudge Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. cocoa
1/2 c. Crisco
1 1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs

Preparation

Sift dry ingredients into bowl.
Add Crisco, buttermilk and vanilla.
Beat 2 minutes with mixer.
Add eggs; beat 2 more minutes.
Pour into prepared pans.
Bake 35 to 40 minutes at 350\u00b0. Frost with chocolate frosting.
