Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. self-rising flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
3 c. apples, chopped
1 tsp. nutmeg
2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. vegetable oil
1 (8 oz.) jar maraschino cherries (optional)
1 c. pecans, chopped
Preparation

Sift flour and spices together.
Cream sugar and oil.
Add eggs, one at a time, to sugar-oil mixture.
Add vanilla. Alternately, add sifted dry ingredients and juice of cherries. Fold in cherries, apples and nuts.
Bake in tube pan at 325\u00b0 for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
