Chili Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 tsp. minced garlic
    2 lb. lean ground beef
    3 Tbsp. chili powder
    1 tsp. ground cumin
    1 tsp. dried oregano leaves
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. red pepper
    2 (16 oz.) cans tomatoes
    1 (32 oz.) can light red kidney beans
Preparation
    Brown ground beef in a large kettle.
    Add onions, garlic, cumin, oregano, salt, red pepper and oil.
    Cook until onions are tender.
    Next add tomatoes (in juice), kidney beans and chili powder.
    Simmer for 1 hour, stirring frequently.
