Sweet Potato Pone - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. shredded, raw, peeled sweet potatoes
    1 2/3 c. white sugar
    1 c. Pet evaporated milk
    1 1/2 c. whole milk
    cinnamon
    2/3 stick margarine
Preparation
    Immediately upon shredding raw potatoes, put in salted ice water; let stand 15 minutes.
    Drain thoroughly and add sugar and milk.
    Turn into a long baking dish.
    Sprinkle with cinnamon and dot with bits of margarine.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until done.
