Mamma'S Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. real butter
5 eggs
3 c. plain flour
1/2 tsp. soda
2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. lemon extract
Preparation

Separate eggs; hold back whites.
Cream the sugar, butter and eggs; mix well.
Sift flour, soda and baking powder together. Add alternately flour and buttermilk.
Add flavorings.
Beat egg whites until stiff.
Fold into mixture.
Pour in greased tube pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
