Rice Lasagna - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef or turkey
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 (30 oz.) jar prepared spaghetti sauce
    1 (15 oz.) container low-fat part skim Ricotta or cottage cheese
    2 c. (8 oz.) shredded low-fat part skim Mozzarella cheese
    2 egg whites
    3 c. cooked long grain rice
    1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Spray a 9 x 13-inch pan with nonstick cooking spray.
    In medium skillet, brown beef and onion; drain. Stir in spaghetti sauce; mix well.
    In small bowl, combine Ricotta cheese, Mozzarella cheese and egg whites; mix well.
    In the prepared pan, spread 1/3 of meat sauce, 1/2 of rice and 1/2 of Ricotta cheese mixture; repeat layers.
    Spread remaining sauce on top; sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
    Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
    Yields 8 servings.
