Soda Cracker Delight - cooking recipe

Ingredients

6 egg whites
3/4 tsp. cream of tartar
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. soda crackers, ground up
3/4 c. chopped nuts
1 (8 oz.) container Cool Whip
1 can cherry pie filling

Preparation

Beat egg whites until frothy; add cream of tartar.
Beat until stiff, gradually adding sugar.
Beat well; add vanilla.
Fold in soda crackers and chopped nuts.
Bake in 12 x 8-inch glass pan, well greased and floured, at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
Let cool.
