"No Peek" Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. stewing beef, cut in 1-inch squares
    1/2 envelope onion soup mix
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 (4 oz.) can whole mushrooms, drained
    1/4 c. red wine
Preparation
    Combine ingredients in a 2-quart casserole.
    Cover and bake at 300\u00b0 for 3 hours.
    Do not peek until it is done.
    Serve over noodles or rice.
    Serves 4 to 6.
