Corn Fritters - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 c. milk
1 Tbsp. melted shortening
2 c. whole kernel corn
shortening or oil for frying
Preparation

Combine all ingredients except corn.
Blend until smooth.
Fold in the corn.
In a large skillet heat the shortening or oil and drop batter by tablespoons into the very hot fat.
Fry until browned on both sides.
