Lemon Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 c. milk
    2 eggs, separated
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    grated rind of 1 lemon
    2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Combine 1/2 cup sugar and milk and heat.
    Beat egg yolks.
    Add flour combined with sugar and salt.
    Pour into hot mixture and cook until it begins to thicken.
    Add lemon juice and grated rind and cook 1 minute; stir.
    Add butter; stir well.
    Pour into baked pie shell.
    Beat 2 egg whites combined with 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar.
    Add 4 teaspoons of sugar.
    Beat until stiff.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for about 15 minutes.
