Mary May'S Pecan Candy-Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. cake flour
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. milk
    3 eggs
    1 stick butter or oleo
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add eggs; mix well.
    Add flour that has been sifted with salt and baking powder, alternately with milk.
    Add vanilla.
    Pour into three (8 or 9-inch) pans.
    Bake at 375\u00b0, 20 to 25 minutes.
