Pacific Tamato Basil Pasta Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. caper
    3 ripe tomatoes, chopped finely
    3 green onions, thinly sliced
    1 clove garlic, minced
    8 to 10 fresh basil leaves, shredded
    5 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
    1 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/2 lb. spiral shape pasta or other shapes
    shredded Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Rinse capers under cold running water and pat dry with paper towels.
    Place in large salad bowl with the tomatoes, green onion, garlic and basil.
    Combine lemon juice, salt and pepper.
    Add oil and stir until blended.
    Fill large pan with salted water and bring to boil.
    Add pasta and boil until cooked but still firm.
    Drain and rinse under cold running water.
    Add to salad bowl.
    Pour the dressing over salad.
    Toss well.
    Serve with Parmesan cheese, if desired.
