Sweet Pickled Banana Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. white vinegar
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. mustard seed
    1 c. water
    2 Tbsp. salt
    1 tsp. mixed spices
Preparation
    Cut peppers in half.
    Remove seeds and soak in ice water for 3 hours, then drain.
    Make a syrup of the ingredients listed and bring to a boil.
    Pour boiling syrup over peppers that have been packed into clean sterilized jars.
    Seal at once.
